This mattress comes with a quality warranty and declaration of conformity, in accordance with the provisions of Legislative Decree No. 306 of 6 September 2005 ("Consumer Code").
This warranty is provided by Alessanderx spa and is valid for two years from the date of purchase printed on the receipt, which must be exhibited by the buyer as proof of the date of purchase.
- Avoid folding or rolling up the mattress.
- Do not expose the internal structure of the mattress to direct sunlight (applies only to latex mattresses).
- Air out the mattress regularly by turning it upside down once a week and flipping it over with the change of season (summer/winter). This procedure allows moisture to evaporate and prevents the formation of mould, while ensuring optimal stabilisation of the structure and its interior.
- When you flip the mattress, never grab it by the side handles alone, but make sure to hold on to its outer structure.
- Alessanderx spa reserves the right to have a designated staff member inspect the defective mattress, in order to check the state of wear and the cause of the defect prior to collecting it for replacement/repair. Alessanderx spa reserves the right to decide whether to replace or repair the mattress, at its own unchallengeable discretion. The mattress must be returned to the manufacturer properly packaged to prevent any further damage.
- The warranty applies to defects and flaws reported within two months from the date in which they are identified, report them by fax at +39 0574 5101235.
- If, upon prompt report from the consumer, the existence of the defects and/or flaws reported is confirmed, Alessanderx spa will be required to repair or replace the mattress, freely deciding which of the two options, and at its own expense.
- Any tears, unthreading, holes, fabric stains, broken zippers, or other imperfections that do not affect the functionality of the mattress can only be disputed at the time of delivery.
- The presence or formation of “tiny balls” of fabric on the mattress, or so-called “pilling”. This phenomenon can be caused by the fabrics of bed sheets or linen containing synthetic fibres. In contact with the mattress, these synthetic fibres can cause friction, at times even compression, thus forming small clusters of fabric.
- Any damage on the mattress caused by the colour of highly coloured bed sheets fading.
- The formation of mould on the mattress or on the pillow, as mould is a factor resulting from a poorly aired-out or highly moist environment.
- A mattress laid on an unsuitable surface, such as iron mesh bed-bases or a flat top with slats positioned too far apart.
- Personal whim stemming from the buyer’s impressions at the time of purchase (e.g. with regard to the mattress comfort being either too rigid or too soft, perfuse sweating, etc.) which have changed over time.
- Oxidation of the cover, as this does not affect the product’s functionality.
- A difference of about +/- 2 cm in the measurements due to the assembly of elastic components is considered normal and does not represent a defect.
- Improper use of the product, failing to follow the Instructions and Service Guide, which automatically voids the Warranty.
Alessanderx S.p.A. reserves the right to send an agent to inspect the defective mattress, in order to determine the cause of the defect prior to collecting it for replacement or repair. While it is being transported back to the manufacturer’s premises, the mattress should be protected with a plastic film in order to avoid any further damage.
